Ayurda Body Rituals
Traditional pastes made from nuts, grains and flowers, polish every part of the body, leaving skin refreshed and rejuvenated.
Body Polishes
The deep pore cleansing and exfoliating effect of this treatment reveals skin at its best. The treatments begins with dry body brushing, followed by the application of warm oil before the traditional ‘dosha’ specific scrub is prepared and applied to the skin. A soothing and hydrating application of replenishing body moisturizer leaves your skin invigorated and baby soft, with a refreshing after glow.
Ubtan
This ritual is a traditional Ayurvedic beauty secret used as a cleanser for centuries. It involves the application of herbal powders called 'ubtans' to cleanse the skin, mixed with yoghurt and lemon juice, milk and honey or yoghurt and rose water, depending on your skin type. The therapeutic benefits of the Ubtan acts as an exfoliant that is both stimulating and and rejuvenating. This treatment includes a full body massage to further enhance the benefits.

Rose Foot Ritual

Shirodhara
The name Shirodhara is made up of 2 words ‘shiro’, the sanskrit word for head, and ‘dhara’ which means continuous flow of substances, such as medicated oil. Shirodhara is considered as a therapeutic and rejuvenating Ayurvedic treatment for stabilizing the state of mind and body, bringing them into harmony. Shirodhara effectively works to correct imbalances at the mental, physical and emotional level. Some of the benefits of Shirodhara are the easing of anxiety, the balancing of hormones, help with insomnia and that it induces a deep state of relaxation.
Shirodhara Treatment
Shirodhara begins with a soothing hand and foot massage to aid relaxation. Your therapist will then begin the flow of warm medicated oil over your third eye for approximately 20 minutes. This then is followed by an Indian head massage. Shirodhara induces a state of absolute serenity.
