There are excellent reef and beach surf breaks such as New Mexico near Ned's Beach, Middle Beach Ledge, Blinky Beach, Sunsets and Little Island off Salmon Beach plus La Merthe off Old Settlement Beach.
For a relaxed swim or snorkel try North Beach, Old Settlement Beach, Lagoon Beach or Ned's Beach. Great picnic spots include North Bay, Ned's Beach, Old Settlement Beach and Lovers Bay.
